ABSTRACT

In this project, I am going to design the structure of the building. The objective of my project is structure design of clinic from the roof to the foundation. I am designing the clinic by using Reinforced Concrete Design and British Standard Code 8110. Clinic is place where people are treated for, nursed through, their illness or injuries. It is also institution where medical advice and treatment are given and where student are taught through observation of cases.

Before work begins on the construction site, an extensive process of designing takes place. The number of people and amount of time involved in the design of the project depends on its size and impact on the community. Most communities have zoning boards to study the need of the community and make recommendations for development. Zoning boards members consider the size of the community, resources on hand, and location and condition of existing structure. New construction must comply with the regulations developed by the zoning.
