ABSTRACT

The title of this project is “Design of a two storey library”,. In our knowledge, a library is a place where literary, historical, and artistic material is kept for reading and for reference. Mean while, the main objective of this, it is also targeted to provide a comfortable library base on the principle of design.

First, the project should be worked out by the architectural drawing, which involves the design of the layout of the structural in this context. The external appearance design and interior design should be taken into account. This is shown by the architectural drawing which has attached in this report.

Structural design of the library is needed to develop in this project. The Reinforces Concrete Designed is used as the methods of design. The further of report will guide through the process of the design. The design work is started from top of the structure to the bottom of it. Finally, the detailing of structural elements is needed to reveal.
