ABSTRACT

The content of this project report is to provide all information regarding the design process and the outcome result.

In this project, I am free to choose the location of the building site, which I chose to locate it my hometown Ipoh. The first step of design for this project is to determine the kind of external and internal look of the building, and then design the structural work accordingly to the architectural design. The external design includes the appearance of the building from outside, and the inner design includes the positioning of brick wall partitions.

Whereas, in the part of the structural design process, all information needed to guide you through the design process will be provided with detailed explanation procedures and drawings. Besides that, this report shows the best method used for designing, and also features some different approach to some designs. The design procedures are done from top to bottom, which is, from roof to slabs to footings. Structural detailing is also shown for this project.
