DESIGN OF TWO STORIES MEDIUM SIZE BUNGALOW

ABSTRACT

This is the design of the two stories Bungalow to complete the diploma in civil engineering. The aim of the design is the achievement of an acceptable probability that structures being design will perform satisfactorily during their intended life. There are three main aim of structural design which must be consider on the design. (i) structure must be safe (ii) Structure must be durable and Structure must be economical. The definition of bungalow is the house that is built only as a single house.

Since that is course ending project the area of the land proposed to built bungalow, the size of the bungalow, interior design and all other factors dimensions and forms are choose as prefer. The main purposed of the project is to apply our own skill base on which we have done and learns so far. The house layout dimensions are; Total built up area 2990 ft^2, Ground Floor area 1190 ft^2, First Floor area 1800 ft^2.
