COMPARATIVE STUDY BETWEEN THE DESIGN OF CONSTRUCTION AND APPLICATION OF COMPOSITE SLAB WITH THE REINFOCED SLAB

ABSTRACT

This report is mainly to explain the different between the conventional type reinforce concrete slab and the composite slab. It includes slab design part, application and comparison. At the early part, this report describe about the basic introduction of the two types of slab but there is more details on composite slabs. That will includes the slab briefing and slab design. Later, it will introduce some area which apply composite slab. After is, there will show the comparison between reinforce concrete slab and composite slab, the comparison are includes materials, cost, time and quality. Then, in the other part, there will also includes some pictures and diagrams of the both slab. All these pictures will give some basic idea of how the two different slab looks like and how they function.

After reading this report, one should be able to identify each type of slab and it’s main function with respect to cost and the time. It will also know the ability of each types of slab.
