ABSTRACT

This report is concern with the overall aspects of the project that entitles, ‘design of a Multi-Storey apartment for INTI staffs’. The content of this report covers the entire spectrum of the design process.

This report has been compiled in such a way that the location and the layout of the site for the building is determined. This is then followed on the by the architectural design, which involves the setting of the external appearance of the apartment to the determination of the interior architecture includes the interior plan views that show the position of the brick wall partitions.

The structural design is also reported in this report where it would guide you through the structural design process with the most detail explanation of the procedures and the methods adopted towards the achievement of a good design for this project. The design procedures have a setting that begins from the slab design up to the column design. At the end of it is also shown the detailing of the structural elements.
