ABSTRACT

These project is to construct an underpass linked the Multi Purpose Hall and the Student Centre of the Inti College. These improvement project will focus on the detail design of the underpass and the planning of the location.

The planning of this project is being involves in several parts, this paper focus in the key subject related with the design a pedestrian underpass tunnel for Inti College. From a technical knowledgement, paying attention and applying the Reinforced Concrete Design Principles, those of design a confident, comfortable, safe, attractive, accessible and environment appropriate underpass.

A design procedure for the underpass has been outlined. This paper involves in several parts including surveying, methods of construction, ventilation, drainage system, lighting system and reinforced concrete design. This paper discusses each of these items and their benefits on the planning of the project.
