ABSTRACT

The main objective of this project is to understand the typical and various methods to analysis slope stability and prevent them from failing such as landslide and soil erosion. The purpose is to enhance the soil properties of the slope and prevent disaster from happening.

In my report I have discussed on the different types of slope failure. These different types of slope failure are classified according to their slope failure which occur due to the different types of soil properties and base on the adjacent stratum the soil layers.

Therefore analysis have to be carried out for analyzing slope stability. I have discussed on a number of methods of analysis with each method having their own characteristic in analyzing different types of soil properties such as fully saturated soil under undrained condition is analyze by the method of angle of repose = 0.
