DESIGN OF INDOOR STADIUM

ABSTRACT

The project is about the design of an Indoor Stadium, which I think is very relevant due to the increasing interest of Malaysia in ball sports. The indoor stadium acts as a multi-purpose indoor venue for events such all sports, exhibition, concerts and large gathering to be held.

First of all, I will introduce to you the descriptions and details of the indoor stadium covering the physical appearance, capacity, facilities and the flooring materials.

After that, I will move to the technical part, which describe the engineering methods used in designing the indoor stadium. My concentration is on the reinforced concrete design of the building and the roof design.

Then, I will show you the outcomes of the design in terms of drawing and calculation (in Appendix)
