ABSTRACT

For my project, the design of ‘Double Storey Shophouses’ are base on precast concrete structures. These precast concrete structures that I have mentioned are slab, roof slab and beam. It is simply because these structures will be the stair, column and foundation will be these structures will be casted in the site itself.

In the project, I will discuss how precast structures are joint and rest to beam. I have included some picture so that you will have better idea in precasting. The calculation of my design is mainly on prestressed structure. However, the calculation of RC stair, column and foundation (pad footing) are available too.
