ABSTRACT
The sewage “disposal” is perhaps misleading one man’s disposal may be his own future problem in the case of a pit latrine, or another man’s problem is the case of night soil system. At some stages in any process the basic constituents, solids and liquids in land or water pose risk to ma from infection.
Parts of the overall strategy to reduce public health risk and improve environmental sanitation, the sewage and industrial sanitation, the sewage and industrial Effluent regulation was gazetted under The Environment Quality Act and enforces form 1st January 1981. these regulations required that sewage effluence discharge from housing development and industrial effluence shall meet the appropriate effluent standards. Hence, sewage systems providing the appropriate degree of treatment for all new development have become a legal requirement.
