ABSTRACT

This project report briefly introduces the various types of slope protection methods available nowadays. Further to this, it also comprises the advantages and limitations and the conditions that are required to adopt a particular method. To provide a clearer visualization on the methods, picture in detail are included at relevant pages.

It is worthwhile reading this project report in detail so that the reader has a clearer view and understanding of which method is to be implemented to achieve certain functions. A case history is also added in as supplementary information to show the significance of protection to critical slope area. In the mean time, the project shows contribution of civil engineering works and its importance to the society. Reading this report will give an idea of what slope protection methods are all about.

As a reminder, this project report not give an exact and accurate solution to slope problem but serve as a guide for the ease of construction. For more detail information and deeper investigation, it is recommended to consult other expertise and professional engineers.
