ABSTRACT

Prestressed concrete has become more and more widely use in construction today. It has proved itself to be more economical than ordinary reinforced concrete. In this project report, I will be explaining in detail what is prestressed concrete, how pre-tensioned concrete beam is manufactured and other relevant details regarding prestressed concrete. I will also show a design example of a prestressed concrete beam.
