ABSTRACT

The aim of the project report is to provide clear explanation about the overall idea of my project title, ‘Design of a Railway’. This project report is mainly about the briefing of the project from beginning to the end.

The main discussions that are included in the project report comprises of:

1. Definition of the bridge

2. Objective of the project

3. Analysis of the structure

4. Method of design

5. Advantages of composite design

The project report analyze the design of a railway bridge step by step taking into account only important considerations within my scope of work. Assumptions are made for considerations that are beyond the scope of my project.
