THE STUDY OF DIFFERENT TYPES OF ENERGY DISSIPATER

ABSTRACT
In this project, as the title is, has been included lost of research on different types of energy dissipaters. This project is generally divided into 5 sections.
The first section is the list of illustration. Here, the several basic types of jump is showed with different jump patterns and within a fixed Froude number according to certain velocities individually.
The second section introduction important characteristic of hydraulic jump which forms in different structure to achieve a purpose of dissipating excess energy. It also stresses on practical applications and its function other than energy dissipation.
The third section mentions about a common energy dissipater which is categorized as sills and its function. Advantages and disadvantages are pointed out to ensure upgrading can be made to existing structures.
The last section touches briefly on few different types of energy dissipater which also dissipater excess energy to prevent the erosion in the structure.
