ABSTRACT

The title of this project is to design a double storey bungalow with a swimming pool on the first floor. The objective of the project is to design a structure that is durable, economical and safe to be used by the owner.

Firstly, the architectural drawing is being worked out, which involves the design of the layout of the structure followed by the design of the external appearance and interior design for the structure. The architectural drawing attached in this report shows the layout.

Finally, the main frame of the project would be the structural design of the double storey bungalow. The further of the report will guild through the process for the design of the structure. The design is done step by step and it is based on British Standard Code of Practice. The design work is started from the top of the structure to the bottom of it. Towards the end of the design, the detailing of the structure elements is also revealed.
