DESIGN A SINGLE STOREY HOSPITAL QUARTER FOR DOCTORS

ABSTRACT

This kind of project is given to all sixth semester student with title related to their study. The purpose of giving this project is to test the student’s understanding in real design. The students must apply all their knowledge which obtained from the previous semester in both practical and theory to complete the project.

I have been given a project to design the single storey hospital quarter actually for two doctors only by using reinforced concrete theory. The building which I designed contains two bed rooms with toilet and bath room, store room, living room, dining room and the kitchen as well.

In the design, all the bending moment and shearing stress should be considered. In this project, I design for slabs, beams, columns, foundation and roof trusses too.
