MESSAGE FROM
THE CONFERENCE CHAIR
On behalf of the 3rd International
Conference on Innovation and Technopreneurship (ICIT2020) organising committee,
I am delighted to welcome all the delegates to the conference hosted by INTI
International University, Malaysia. For International delegates, we trust you
will enjoy your stay in Malaysia.
Bearing the theme “Embracing IR4.0”, this
conference provides a worldwide platform for both academia and industry
practitioners to share global expertise, invention, innovation, ideas and
technology for the benefit of mankind, and will hopefully act as a platform
from which IR4.0 will bring revolutionary change to us all. In-line with its
theme, the Conference covers areas in technology and business, social impact
and talent development for the digital era.
We are honoured that we have the support from
our collaborative network of both local and international researchers and
participants including the Asian Society for Engineering Education, R&D
Centre for Smart Manufacturing of Chung Yuan Christian University Taiwan,
China; UNESCO UNEVOC Centre, Zhejiang Technical Institute of Economics, China;
and Yunus Social Business Centre of Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, as well as
the Centres of Excellence of INTI International University. We are also
grateful to having the Association of Global Industry Academic Collaboration
Malaysia for sponsoring overseas researchers here.
I trust you will be inspired by the insightful
speakers and their vision, for it is through visionary thinking that innovation
takes place. Our role now is to take these ideas forward through collaborative
partnerships with industry so that IR4.0 can more directly impact all areas of
our daily lives, not just in relation to industry but also health and life
sciences and social business.
Finally, on behalf of all the members of the
Conference Organising Committee, I extend our deepest thanks to all those who
have contributed to making our 3rd annual conference the rousing
success that we are confident it will be: our speakers, presenters, session
chairs and you, our participants. We wish all participants fruitful discussions
