STUDY AND
IMPLEMENTATION OF VOICE OVER INTERNET PROTOCOL IN LOCAL AREA NETWORK
ENVIRONMENT
BY
Currently,
most VOIP applications can only be used to receive voice while the receiver answers
the call from the caller. Through this application, when one of the users is
not available, there will be a voice message that automatically answers for he
call after several tones. The caller can just leave their voice message for the
receiver. The live conversation between the caller and receiver can also be
recorded. There will be a server that will manage all the users. Users need to
register and get authentication in server’s database. Each time users log in to
the server, the server will get the users’ IP address. When there is a user who
has logged in and wants to make a call, the caller will get the IP address.
When there is a user who has logged in and wants to make a call, the caller
will get the IP address of the receiver from the server. After that, the caller
can just directly call to the receiver without adding workload to the server.
The caller connects to the receiver using the peer to peer technology.
