ABSTRACT

This study will be emphasis on the classroom management system where desktops will be used as a tool for teaching in a network environment classroom. The research will be focusing on controlling and monitoring student desktop in a network environment. In tandem with our country’s vision to develop smart school, this application will be used by teachers/ lecturers to monitor student’s activity time to time and giving the lecturer the power to remotely control the keyboard, video and mouse during lessons. Lecturers also able to block the http port which the student is accessing and block the desktop of that particular student if the web content is unrelated. Lecturers desktop will be used as centralized server (control station) which will be functioning as a centralized point to broadcast their desktop screen to students. The advantages of implementing this application are to overcome the problem of going to multiple desktop to monitor student’s progress on the subject. It saves a lot of teaching time and teaching lessons will be conducted more effectively and efficiently. It also can prevent student from accessing the unwanted site besides the site related to the subject. This system will eliminate the need of a projector in a network environment
