A STUDY AND IMPLEMENTATION OF A PROTOTYPE ON REMOTE-CONTROLLED I-HOME TECHNOLOGY

ABSTRACT
The objective of this project is to implement a remote controlled Intelligent Home System that acts differently compared with an ordinary system where is has no restriction in terms of distance between the point of remote control and home. The main purpose of this system is to provide a more flexible way to control an Intelligent Home System wherever the user is. This system integrates functions like intruder detection system, task scheduling and remote access service. The application software installed on a workstation will act as a min control center in a home. This application software enables user to control the whole house with just few clicks. User is able to view all the events happened at home from the workstation. This system is built to prevent unauthorized personnel to access by requesting password before entering the system.
