ABSTRACT

 

            This project focuses on wireless technology standards and the study on how wireless network can be put into practice. Unlike the ordinary wired networks, wireless connection is flexible and the physical settings can be easily changed. Nowadays, 802.11 is mainstream. 802.11 enable networks are widely available at homes, campuses, enterprises and many public access areas. The project comes with the aim to exploit the mobility of wireless network by implementing a prototype include estimation of distance, application of location-based algorithm and mapping of selected location in campus
