ABSTRACT

This project mainly focuses on the study and implementation of P2P (Peer-to-Peer) integrated system. The target users are all lecturers from School of Computing Information Technology (SOCIT) and students who are staying in hostels of INTI College Malaysia. Most of the network users are facing difficulty in finding shared resources in the network; the main purpose of this project is to solve this problem. In addition, this system allows users to chat and form peer groups. Basically, this project can be divided into eleven chapters, each an objective in each part. This documentation consists of a research part which is a background study on the topic and the existing P2P system. After that, the author will get the user requirements and produce a system specification. The author then continues to design the system and coding. When this prototype is done, system testing will be made and final documentation will be produced.
