ENHANCEMENT OF SECURITY SYSTEM AND DATA MANAGEMENT IN ELECTRONIC COMMERCE SYSTEM

ABSTRACT

Nowadays, there is still exist a number of weaknesses in current e-commerce system due to its inefficiency of security procedures. This project will study the current technology that is used to support the e-commerce system and understand how does the current e-commerce system work on the website. Data manipulation of e-commerce system will also be covered. This includes study of data format that is used in e-commerce system, the encryption and decryption method, the way data flows in the system, the way data is being stored in the database and so forth. Weaknesses in the current e-commerce system will be analyzed and identified in this study.
