TO IMPLEMENT SMART CARD TECHNOLOGY APPLICATION: TO IMPROVE FEATURES AND FUNCTIONS OF ICM STUDENTS’ SMART CARD

ABSTRACT
This project addresses issues related to smart card technology. This study and technology area will discuss about the existing smart card functions and features currently used by students in ICM, to improve and add new features and functions into the smart card. A smart card is a standard credit card sized plastic, which is embedded with a microchip within its body which makes it smart. It provides memory capacity and the computational capability thus processing data. Functions in student Affair Department (SAD), printing service, serves as a phone card, and payments in activity room booking and food purchasing will be added according to user requirements. Evaluation will be done to select the most appropriate tools.
