ABSTRACT
The main purpose of this project is to undertake research on J2EE and its role in e-commerce. Basically, this project is subdivided into two parts. The first part gives an in-depth understanding of J2EE, E-commerce and identifies the relationship between them. Comparative study of J2EE with other E-commerce’s Web development tools also will be carried out. In the second part, a web program will be implemented using J2EE and Resin server. The web store program will be equipped with the online shopping function, E-bulletin board function, E-mail function and chat room function (all will be developed using J2EE).
