IMPLEMENTATION OF NATURAL LANGUAGE PROCESSING (NLP) CONCEPT TO DEVELOP AN INTELLIGENT TOOL THAT ALLOWS USERS TO SEARCH FOR HARDWARE INFORMATION

ABSTRACT
This project focuses on study of Natural Langauge Processing (NLP) concept. A hardsware information searching system will base on NLP concept. Natural Langauge Processing is the second important issue after expert system in the study of Artificial Intelligent (AI). Nowadays, many systems implement NLP in a computerized world to ensure a better performance. By using Natural Langauge Processing Concept, a user has the perception of communicating with a friend. A user can interact with this program by typing in one English sentence in the program to find out about related hardware information. Based on the information provided, the system would locate the appropriate hardware information to the user by retrieving the data from the database. The behaviour is that of asking a friend a question and waiting for an answer or solution. This system will help users who are not well versed in using computer terminology to search for the appropriate information. To help new users to understand this system, this system would run with a simple, user-friendly interface. The tools to be considered in developing this system include ASP.Net, PHP and Visual Prolog.
