ABSTRACT

The purpose of this project is to implement VoiceXML technology to develop an application that allows information seekers to retrieve information about the programmes and services provided by INTI College. Using the VoiceXML technology, users are allows to listen to the information that the wanted through the use of ordinary telephone. Once a user starts the session with the system, users are prompted with a menu of choices to choose from. Users can either speak or uses the DTMF key input to choose their desired choices from the menu. From there, users can listen to the information that they wanted. The benefit of using this VoiceXML technology is that user can retrieve information from anywhere and anytime of the day without having to log on to the Internet to browse for the desired web page to retrieve information.
