ABSTRACT

This project research and study is to evaluate the transmission of voice over the networking communication protocols over the INTI campus. We look in the aspect on how voice is transmitted over the network. As a final solution, software will be produced which enables the clients to communicate with voices instead of the conventional communications like chatting and electronic mails. The software produced will help students in the INTI campus communicate with each other effectively. The software will assist users to effectively communicate with each other in an office or college environment. As for efficiency, this software is built to work on real time basis. So, this means a full duplex voice transmission will be implemented. The author realizes that voice communication through the Internet is slowly getting acceptance by Internet users. In this modern society, communication is the essential to better ties with one and another. Internet is so-called super-highway information distribution. Basically this project is meant to cater for a worldwide community but for now it will begin with the INTI campus, The author feels that we need to make full use of the inexpensive and convenient voice communication facilities around us. The biggest step is to implement this system in the INTI campus itself.
