A STUDY ON WAP TECHNOLOGY TO IMPLEMENT A KUALA LUMPUR INFORMATION KIOSK FOR TOURIST

ABSTRACT
This project aims to study on WAP (Wireless Application Protocol) technology and other aspects that are required to develop a Kuala Lumpur Information Kiosk. The benefit of this system is to help tourists to seek information easily. This system will provide the most updated information of some places in Kuala Lumpur. The user is to enter the expected destination place then the system will show the ways that can be used to go to that destination. In addition, the tourists can seek for some main hotels information such as address, price, phone number and others. If there is some emergency cases happen, the tourist can seek for police station information through this system. Besides, all the information in this system can be modified.
