ABSTRACT

Common Object Request Broker Architecture (CORBA) is an approach to distributed client/server programming that works with many different types of computers, operating systems and programming languages. It allows client-server applications to find and communicate with each other no matter who developed them or where they are running on a network. CORBA is an industry-wide standard for creating distributed object systems. It is a standard that is accessible from many different languages and allows interoperability on various platforms. To develop a client-server applications, many functions that need to code from none to the whole. But if implement it with some specifications it will more ease for programmer, and CORBA specifications is a reliable specifications that can handle large amount of transactions no matter web or client-server network model.
