IMPLEMENTATION OF WEB-BASED INTERACTIVE ELECTRONIC LEARNING FOR A PRIMARY SMART SCHOOL

ABSTRACT

This project aims to develop a web-based interactive electronic textbook for primary smart schools. It is equipped with images, sound and even quizzes or exercises, so that information can be presented in a more interesting manner than the traditional textbooks. Besides, there are also including the online tutorial and online test for the student. The objectives of developing E-learning are to solve the problem of heavy school bag and provide an interesting learning environment for the students in the smart school. Every student has their own smart card ID to login and retrieve their textbooks accordingly. Further investigation is conducted to get the responds from the teachers, students and publishers on the implementation of E-learning. The system is developed by using the ASP technology. A secure system is important especially in the authorization part to access different functions of the system, in which different user will have different authorization.
