STUDY ON VOICE RECOGNITION TO IMPLEMENT VOICE CONTROLLED SOFTWARE USING JAVA SPEECH TECHNOLOGY

ABSTRACT

This project is only a prototype of speech control application, therefore there are not a fully hand free application. It only supports several functions that are the basic control of a music player. The author choose music player to be a prototype application because the music is around of everyone daily. Java is a powerful object-oriented programming that is easy to link all class from one to another. Besides, it support different types of look and very user friendly Graphic interface. Java sound will enable a wide variety of markets, to take advantage of its high quality audio to make communication more effective and accessible. This API provides comprehensive access to the features of the Java Sound Engine, and allows musicians and sound designers to integrate their work into Java applets and applications.
