DEVELOPMENT OF NETWORK COMPONENT FOR ACTIVE SERVER PAGES (ASP)

ABSTRACT
The main purpose of this project is to develop a network component for Active Server Pages (ASP). The network component for ASP in this project is referring to a generic component that built based on the Component Object Model and the component is suitable to be used in the ASP environment. Basically, ASP can not call the command directly from the Win32 Application Programming Interface (API). This a weak point of ASP compare to Perl and Tcl. This is a limitation for ASP and basically there is no way to do these unless a component can be created to interface with the API and at the same time become the server object of ASP.
