ABSTRACT

Interest in the potential of digital images has increased enormously in recent years. Users in may professional fields are now exploiting the new range of opportunities offered by the ability to access and manipulate images to a higher quality compare to the original copy. However, they are also experiencing the frustrations of locating the desired image in a large and varied collection. The problems of image retrieval are becoming widely recognized, and the search for solutions is an increasingly active area for research and development. Digital images have been widely used because of the features that they offer. It is very convenient to use digitized images using computers and now they come out with digital camera, which stores digital images. Images have been part of this life as they represent life form on earth.
