IMPLEMENTATION OF MULTIMEDIA MAILBOX (MMM) BASED ON COMPUTER TELEPHONY TECHNOLOGY

This project exploits a technology, which is called computer telephony technology that involves the telecommunication devices and the computer. There are 3 features of the project that requires a hardware in order to capture the incoming fax and route it to the mailbox. The fax will be converted into picture file so that the user can view the fax. On the other hand, it can also record down the voice from the phone, which will be converted, to wave file and to be sent to the mailbox. The user is able to playback the wave file by using the Windows Media Player. The last feature is that it also can receive normal mail. All the mail, faxmail, and voicemail in the mailbox can be retrieved, saved and deleted from any Internet browser.
