DEVELOPING A PROTOTYPE FOR HOME AUTOMATION USING COMPUTER CONTROL

ABSTRACT

The concept of home automation and Networking is to connect the systems and devices together on a network so that they can be control with the common interface and react with each other. In order for these devices to communicate with each other there must be a connection either via a wire of some sort or a radio signal (wireless). This project aims to develop software, which allow users to control the electrical appliances at different locations in their house. Users can check their appliances whether is on or off. If users wishes to on or off the electricity, they can press one key from the keyboard to on or off the connection. The main objective of developing home automation using computer control is to provide more convenience for the home owner. This control system will be develop using some suitable programming language.
