A STUDY AND DEVELOPMENT OF A MATHEMATIC GUIDE FOR TERTIARY LEVEL EDUCATION

ABSTRACT
This project aims to develop mathematic software that will aid students in their college/ university level math. This software can solve complex mathematic problems that arise at tertiary level syllabus. The features include calculation of complex number, matrix algebra, quadratic and cubic equations. One outstanding feature to be made available is the option to display the “steps” or “calculations” feature is only available on intermediate level problems. This feature has not been implemented into tertiary education math programs. The system will have a flexible interface to suit various tasks and calculation methods that the user needs.
