IMPLEMETATION OF DISTRIBUTED PROCESSING SYSTEM OVER A LOCAL AREA NETWORK ENVIRONMENT

This project will research the existing Distributed Processing Technology that are used in the Search for Extra-Terrestrial Intelligent (STI) and Genetic Engineering Analysis whereby super computers are replaced by hundreds thousands of Micro computer. This project aims at researching and developing a distributed processing system whereby the server computer in a LAN environment will distribute processing tasks to the client computer to be processed. This system will be very useful in speeding up the processing time for applications that requires huge processing power such as 3D rendering and graphic processing. This will eventually bring benefits such as faster processing time because the server computer had offload the processing workload to the client computer.
