ABSTRACT

Extensible Markup Language (XML) becomes a more preferable markup language for web developers to define their own tags rather than using HTML. This project aims to study the background, features and advantages of using XML. The Online Sales system for small business is to develop using XML. In this online sales system, the owner can conduct business through the web. Customers can make orders for the products, and view their shopping carts through the system. This systems provides users a more convenient way to purchase through the web.
