DEVELOPING A WAP (WIRELESS APPLICATION PROTOCOL) BASED APPLICATION PROTOTYPE AS HARDWARE INFORMATION AGENT

ABSTRACT

This project is to study the background of Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) and develop a prototype, which include the decision support feature with the use of Wireless Markup Language (WML) to become an online information agent. The implementation of the prototype will be on a WAP server, an enable to browse by using A WAP based mobile phone. It is to venture into a new area for implementing decision support features in IT that saves cost; being fast, and simple compared to PC based system.
