ABSTRACT
This project is to develop a speech recognition application to integrate with SMS application using Pocket PC. This application enables user to send text messages yet it does not need user to type the text messages. Users can continuously deliver the messages through voice input devices and the speech recognition application will capture the speech and translate it into text. After receiving the input speech, the application will send that recorded voice to the server and process the speech recognition. The application will ask for confirmation whether to send the input speech that has been translated into text. In conclusion, this project focuses on the study of speech recognition technology and develops a speech recognition technology and develops a speech recognition application and SMS application to benefit users in improving communication method.
