A STUDY AND IMPLEMENTATION OF CLIENT-SERVER BASED CLINIC MANAGEMENT SYSTEM USING TOUCH SCREEN TECHNOLOGY

ABSTRACT

This project is to develop a client-server based clinic management system using JAVA programming languages. It is implemented using Touch Screen Technology. It is a system that stores patient records and appointment dates. The patient records system will record all the patient information, treatment given and treatment fees. As for the appointment system will record down all the appointment made by the patient. The specialty of this appointment is to ability to suggest the next available date for the patient. The system is able to avoid the clashes, public holiday or weekend and doctor unavailability time or date. Ultimately, this project aims to solve problem such as difficulty in locating patient record if patient did not bring along the patient card, difficulty to manage appointment date and loss of patient record card. Languages conversions are also available in this system.
