ABSTRACT

This project will focus on the study of Networking under Windows environment and as well as Client and Server concept. The study will covers the area of Networking under Windows which includes TCP/IP and Winsock programming that can be used to create and E-Classroom. The E-classroom is defined as a Network Computer Classroom whereby it will be used in an actual environment as a teaching and monitoring the student’s activities. In typical laboratory class, the student will have to connect their PC to the lecturer’s computer. Than the lecturer can broadcast his or her teaching to all the students at the same time. Besides that, the lecture can also monitor the students activity in the laboratory. The teaching and learning session will also be enhanced by allowing the student to ask questions by using a Chatting program. If the students have any doubts on the lesson, the lecturer can remotely control the student’s PC and run the application on the student’s PC. Besides that, the lecturer can remotely control the client’s input devices and to sent files to the clients too.
