A STUDY OF EXPERT SYSTEM AND IMPLEMENTATION OF MATERIAL RESOURCE PLANNING TO MANAGE THE RESOURCES IN APPAREL MANUFACTURING

ABSTRACT
An expert system is a computer program that simulates the judgment and behavior of a human or an organization that has expert knowledge and experience in a particular field. Typically, such a system contains knowledge base on containing accumulated experience and a set of rules applying the knowledge base to each particular situation that is described to the program. Sophisticated expert system can be enhanced with additions to the knowledge base on to a set of rules. This system will help organization to plan out the ingoing and outgoing resources. It contains the information from customer order, and then analyzes those data to generate the accurate output. It helps the organization to have decision support on the amount of resources needed such as cost, material, workers and time. It would also include the inventory system to help users to control the resources. Furthermore, it could be calculated for organization’s future planning.
