ABSTRACT

A research on the concept of architecture voice and video integrated data technology (AVVID). The author will study the concept of voice and video over IP, the compression and streaming method that used to compress the video and voice to be transmit over the IP and the type of video, audio file format to be use to transmit over IP. Beside that, the author also doing a research on the hardware, software and tools required for developing the video conferencing software. Finally the author will develop the video conferencing software based on the concept of architecture voice and video integrated data (AVVID) and the chosen compression and streaming techniques. The video conferencing software will be best to explain the concept of (AVVID) because it transmits voice and video over the Internet Protocol (IP). Beside the conferencing software, the existing e-learning environment also fulfills the concept of the (AVVID) technology. The methodology that applied for developing this software is the prototype methodology.
