ABSTRACT
The aim of this project is to study and develop the use of smart card for clinic admission. The project evaluate the benefits of using smart card to citizens as a pass to consult doctors at a clinic. The objective of this project is to solve the problem of having to wait long queues for registration when a patient admitted to a clinic for consultation. By using the smart card, patient do not need to register again when they go to a branch clinic for consultation. Then the patient can obtain the queue number from the reception and proceed to consult toe doctor. Doctors can use this card to check and prove that these are their branch patient by inserting this card into the smart card reader. It is also will help the doctor trace back the time and the location of patient previous consultation. This will indirectly avoid redundancy of patient records, save time, save cost and is paper less. All the patient consultation information will be controlled by clinic’s procedure or system
