STUDY AND IMPLEMENTATION OF AN INTELLIGENT PARALLEL DOWNLOAD MANAGER TO SPEED-UP DOWNLOADING WITH MULTIPLE CONNECTIONS

The purpose of this project is to develop a parallel download manager that is responsible for downloading files. It allows users to resume downloads if they have been stopped from any reason. It reduces the downloading time by split a download file into separated connections. Each connection will download different part of the file simultaneously. At the end, it combines all the files and rebuild into the original file. In other words, it automatically searches for the mirror sites and downloads a file using multiple connections. This project is developed by using Java or C++.
