A STUDY ON .NET FRAMEWORK TO DEVELOP A MESSENGER FOR MULTIMEDIA COMMUNICATION

ABSTRACT
This project aims to develop a messenger under the environment of Microsoft .Net framework for multimedia communication. The .Net framework is a new computing platform that simplifies application development in the highly distributed environment of the Internet, and is an integral Windows component for building and running in next generation of software applications and web services. Furthermore, it provides a consistent object oriented programming environment whether object code is stored and executed locally, executed locally but Internet distributed, or executed remotely. On the other hand, a messenger is a communication application, which enables users to communicate via messages throughout the Internet. For this proposed messenger, it will enable multimedia communication such as speed-communication and web cam conversation. Moreover, file sharing and network games are feasible through the usage of messenger
