STUDY ON WAP TECHNOLOGY BY APPLYING WML AND WML SCRIPT IN THE DEVELOPMENT WAP APPLICATION PROTOTYPE

ABSTRACT

The aim of the author for this project is to learn the concepts and build the WAP application by using the WML and WML Script. WAP stands for the Wireless Application Protocol. It is a technology that revolutionizing the way we communicate and doing business. WML, which is Wireless Mark-up Language use for describing the structure of documents to be delivered to wireless device. By learning the WAP and WML the author tends to develop a prototype of WAP application that make a user able to read, search the information on the web and send e-mail by using their hand phone or wireless device. This new WAP technology is very interesting for all users in the world, especially for businessman in which they can easily search for information they want at any time by using their mobile.
